			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>You might have heard about the scandal last year where Australian Channel Ten was caught flashing subliminal logos of different products during and award show. The Australian Communications and Media Authority are now looking into the case to see if any laws were broken by the channel. What&#8217;s the big fuss? In most countries in the western world it is illegal to &#8220;attempt to use or involve a technique which attempts to convey information to the viewer by transmitting messages below or near the threshold of normal awareness.&#8221;<br />
So if there actually are laws preventing the use of subliminals in advertising and television programming, couldn&#8217;t these same techniques be used as subliminal confidence boosters? I know the jury still seems to be out on this issue; some studies indicate that subliminal messaging works, others find no proof of this. But if the advertising industry spends millions of dollar every year on subliminal advertising and research, isn&#8217;t it likely that there is something to this?<br />
So how can this power be used as subliminal confidence building? We know affirmations work, but maybe there can be a more efficient way to go about them? Both affirmations and subliminals are basically just messages. Affirmations you tell yourself over and over, subliminals you are not aware of.<br />
In addition to using affirmations and different exercises to build your confidence, you could use subliminals messages. For instance, have a subliminal confidence booster playing in the background when you are asleep. Or get a subliminal confidence mp3 that you can play on your ipod or in your car.<br />
Subliminal confidence recordings also have the advantage that unlike regular affirmation or hypnosis recordings they can be used almost anywhere because it is really hard for someone listening to make out what is being said.<br />
Anyone who has ever experienced low self esteem or self confidence knows how much it affects and worsens your life. Repeating affirmations to yourself and using hypnosis, either self hypnosis, a hypnotherapist or a hypnosis mp3, can definitely help your confidence, but if there are other options out there that can be just as or even more efficient, it&#8217;s important to try them.<br />
It just makes sense that using a subliminal confidence booster, alone or together with the affirmations and hypnosis, could give you even better results. It also saves you time. Even if you don&#8217;t have time to listen to a hypnosis recording every day, you can put on your subliminal confidence booster when you go to bed and let your subconscious work on your problem while you are sleeping.<br />
It definitely can&#8217;t hurt to try a subliminal confidence program, and chances are it will really help you. Even if all the research is not in on this issue, nothing has been ruled out either. You really just need to follow the money; the advertising industries are practically running our world today, and if they are spending a lot of money and effort on this, chances are its highly effective. </p>

<p>There is no known rule that says for anything to be a success it has to be something huge, titanic or long-term.</p>
<p>Success is success! And that is how your mind will see it.</p>
<p>Make it your role to daily feed success after success to your sponge of a mind. And as surely as a seed grows into a plant, you will grow more confident after each seed that you plant, and that confidence will grow even more and gain momentum as the plant gets bigger and stronger, fertilised by each and every success that you achieve.</p>
<p>Take advantage of all your small or short-term victories. Make the most of all your short-term successes; particularly when you are feeling pessimistic, feeling low or insecure about your future. </p>
<p>Remind yourself and profit from your past successes to lift you and help you regain and secure that confident feeling again from deep within.</p>
<p>I am pretty sure you have daily short-term successes that you can be proud of. For example, you had a project to complete and were given a tight deadline. You managed your time effectively and you confidently worked through it until completion. </p>
<p>Or perhaps you had to make a presentation and were given short notice. You had to gather all the relevant information and facts and relay them in a confident and assured manner.</p>
<p>These were two examples of success, where you had that confident feeling. . I am sure when you sit back and go through the past few days or weeks you will remember many more successes.</p>
<p>And when you do, relax and think about them. Recreate and stimulate the confident winning feelings again. Relive the moment of every success and accomplishment.</p>
<p>Use that surge of confident feeling to fuel you to your next success; to the one after that, and to the one after that. Gradually building a portfolio of successes.</p>
<p>Perhaps you could set aside an hour for the next few days to write down as many successes as you can. And next to each one, describe in detail how you felt; how much of a winner you were. </p>
<p>Focus on how you believed you were confident, and how you communicated with supreme confidence. Remember how you psyched yourself up to increase your confidence prior to, during and after the event.</p>
<p>Write as much as you can on how fantastic and strong and confident you felt. As you write, recapture the winning feelings, the pride, the confidence and the satisfaction.</p>
<p>By being a successful, confident winner once, you can be a winner again and again; as many times as you like throughout your life.</p>
<p>Anytime you feel unconfident or nervous, apprehensive or anxious, regain that confident winning feeling by emotionally remembering your past successes.</p>

<p>Fear and insecurities are paralyzing. To be unlimited go against the norm. Build strength and confidence in you. Control what you have control over… your thoughts, choices, and actions. Here are 10 tips to build confidence, stay in high energy, and stand strong. </p>
<p>Identify and Leverage Your Assets- We each have a unique customized set of natural abilities waiting to be fully developed, poured out, and used in full to the benefit of others. They often show up as an ongoing inkling or burning desire watered down by apprehensive thoughts (ego). Develop assets that can not be diminished: ~ Strengths- natural abilities you might feel are no big deal… but others think are pretty special~ Passions- what you would do if time and money were not an issue~ Skills- what you have learned and developed from past work and experience~ Knowledge~ gained from information, experience, or others, and lastly~ Values~ you can not imagine life without it. It is what you stand for (i.e. honesty, humor, adventure, compassion, etc.) </p>
<p>Trust- Know that you can handle anything. Experiences bring value that can improve the world. Hold a positive attitude from a much deeper place. Stay in faith. Get out of your head into a more soulful place where you connect with feelings, intuition, and follow that guiding gut instinct. </p>

<p>Shift How You Feel through Great Body Talk- Stand and sit up straight with confidence, walk with enthusiasm, hold your head up, dress in a way that makes you feel great, shake hands firmly, and smile often. You will feel great and others will, too. </p>
<p>Build a Support Network- Choose connections that are on your side. They get who you are, support who you are becoming, and encourage you. Hang in environments with positive and intelligent energy flowing so that you may have access to high energy, information, resources, etc. Give back, too! </p>
<p>Focus on Your Service to Others- When focused on what you do for others you don&#8217;t have time to feel sorry for yourself. You get out of fear and paralysis and are drawn to action. Right now write down 10 ways you know you can help others through the work you do. Focus on that. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Somebody asked me this question and I responded with &#8211; excellent question, I&#8217;d have to say we gain confidence by taking the chance. The outcome may be what we desired or it may be different but the fact that we took chance gives us confidence. This works with some phobias. I have the height phobia. I try to look below from heights without getting afraid. Small heights first. The phobia is very much there but I will conquer it soon. I have the confidence now. Let me list few important points about confidence-No one has zero confidence, so we can start by building on what we have. Probably all of us are more confident in some areas than in others. </p>
<p>Challenge yourself at every opportunity to go a little beyond hat you know you can do. </p>
<p>Start with something small, and take a leap of faith in yourself. </p>
<p>We can talk to ourselves more kindly and encouragingly, and remind ourselves of what we do well, and whatever success we had. </p>
<p>The only true failure, is quitting. We usually quit because we&#8217;ve become discouraged. If we feel confident we would not quit but try again. </p>
<p>Your feelings affect everything you do in life. Your self-confidence levels and self-esteem depend on your feelings. </p>
<p>Write all the good work done by you. When I feel low in confidence, I try to recollect my school days.I was the top in my school and my thoughts of past change my state immediately. Do something similar by going in past. Begin recollecting. </p>
<p>Practice trying to see the glass half full rather than half empty, with regards to how you view yourself. </p>
<p>Loneliness can add to the feeling of non-confidence. A lot of times when we feel lonely we&#8217;re also reluctant to do things like call old friends or new acquaintances, or to go out or invite people over. We need to break this cycle. </p>
<p>We need to have someone tell us that we are good and explain to us how our thinking has been distorted by negative things said to us, over and over again. </p>
<p>All of us are unique! There is no one else like us! Are we morons that we can not achieve what others can? No. We can! </p>
<p>There have been many notable late bloomers in life! Abraham Lincoln, J.K. Rowling and did you know Einstein was considered retarded until after his theory of relativity became known? Yes his teachers believed that because he kept failing his classes. </p>
<p>Begin with confidence and you will know you can do just about anything you choose. </p>
<p>Confidence comes from attempting to do things and recognizing our efforts or accomplishments. A person does not become confident riding a bicycle until they have done it, but they need some confidence that they can learn to ride it, or they will not try. </p>
<p>If you get negative results do not see them as a FAILURE rather than an education and merely a temporary set back. The more kudos you can give to yourself for trying your best,  the better your chances of success next time. </p>
<p>Confidence is built from success and what you learn from failure. </p>
<p>Confidence is all about a positive mind-set. </p>
<p>A small child does not know how to walk but looking at others walking he gets the confidence that he too can walk. Observe successful people. that gives confidence. </p>
<p>Think of what you are confident about and pull up your shoulders. </p>

<p>C interrupts B and says- I think you are right, B that some of our confidence comes from accomplishing things and recognizing that accomplishment for ourselves. Those who don&#8217;t try, and who only want things done for them because they &#8220;can&#8217;t,&#8221; don&#8217;t gain this kind of confidence. </p>
<p>I wonder&#8230; you say sometimes it has worked for you and sometimes it hasn&#8217;t&#8230; could the difference be in how well you recognize what you have accomplished? Take for instance, trying to quit smoking&#8230; do you see how much you have accomplished, or only see how you feel you&#8217;ve fallen short? Because i see the progress you have made&#8230; even if you are smoking as much&#8230; because you tried. And that shows you are orienting your mind and your lifestyle to become a non-smoker. </p>
<p>You have reminded me that I need to work on recognizing my accomplishments, too. In this area, I more often see the glass as half empty instead of half full! That is how C looked at the question of confidence. Let us see how the dialogue develops. Now it is the turn of B. As far as smoking is concerned, I&#8217;ve failed to achieve what I set out to do. So I feel that i am a failure. Why my weak side takes control over me, rather than my determination? What is the way to fight weakness? If I conquer that I will gain confidence that I can take control. Right now I am not sure. Does anyone have an insight? </p>
